Hello, I’m Anna — and I’m Here to Help You Feel Heard. Taking the first step towards counselling can feel daunting. You may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or simply unsure of how to move forward. Whatever has brought you here, you don’t have to face it alone. My aim is to help you feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported — without judgement or pressure.

About Me

I work with adults experiencing a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties, including anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, relationship and communication difficulties, and more complex emotional challenges.

My approach is integrative, which means I draw on different therapeutic approaches and tailor our work to your individual needs, circumstances, and goals. I believe that therapy should be a safe and supportive space where you feel genuinely heard, understood, and accepted.

I can support you in improving your emotional wellbeing, managing current difficulties, and navigating challenging or unexpected life changes. Together, we can explore the experiences and patterns that may be contributing to your difficulties, identify unhelpful thoughts and behaviours, and develop healthier and more effective ways of coping.

I also recognise the important connection between the mind and body. Emotional distress can often affect us physically, so my work takes into consideration the ways psychological difficulties can contribute to or influence physical and somatic symptoms.

Whether you are struggling with something that has recently happened, dealing with difficulties that have been present for some time, or simply feel that you are no longer coping as well as you would like, therapy can provide an opportunity to pause, reflect, and begin moving towards positive change.

Taking the first step towards counselling can feel daunting, particularly if you are new to therapy. My aim is to make the process feel as comfortable and collaborative as possible, working at a pace that feels right for you.

I offer both face-to-face and online counselling sessions. If you feel that I may be the right therapist for you, I would be happy to support you on your journey towards greater self-understanding, emotional wellbeing, and positive change.
